Tom Carradine
Tom was born in Coventry and graduated from Imperial College London in 2004 with a degree in Biochemistry and Management. Since graduating he has worked extensively as a musical director and keyboard player in London, across the UK and in Europe.
His theatre credits include the UK tours of Hi-de-Hi and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (as Musical Director), Scrooge and Cabaret (as Assistant Musical Director) and The Sound of Music (Children's Musical Director). As a keyboard player he has worked on the UK tours of Blood Brothers, Half a Sixpence, Mad about the Musicals and Les Miserables in the West End.
A lifelong Music Hall and Variety fan, he has also worked as musical director and arranger at Brick Lane Music Hall, The Players' Theatre and The New Players' Theatre. Since 2014 has been performing his one-man Carradine’s Cockney Sing-a-long show playing sell-out dates at Wilton’s Music Hall, every Thursday at Mr Fogg's Tavern in Covent Garden and for festivals, corporate events and private parties across the country and in Europe including in Trafalgar Square for the Mayor of London’s St George’s Day Celebrations in 2024.
His sing-a-long has appeared on The Apprentice (BBC One), The Hairy Builder (BBC Two), Sunday Brunch (Channel 4) and Tom regularly provides the soundtrack to videos on the award-winning Joolz Guides YouTube channel. He has entertained audiences on two transatlantic crossing on the Queen Mary 2, with the London Theatre at Sea weeks, and in January 2022 was recognised by the British Music Hall Society with an award for “keeping the spirit of music hall alive”.
